For this project we were tasked to see the effects of heart rate on homeostasis. To accomplish this we had to create our own lab procedure. We decided to test by jump roping for one minute, then measuring each persons heart rate for 15 minutes after. We then had to find out why heart rate is lowered after homeostasis. We wrote Ean article explaining the cause of homeostasis, as you can see below.

homeostasis-the tendency toward a relatively stable equilibrium between interdependent elements, especially as maintained by physiological processes

During this project me and my team worked well together. But we did not account for outside factors that affected our experiment, such as rain or distractions, and how good people were at jump roping. During this experiment I learned that running experiments can be very stressful. I also learned that I need to account for outside factors that I have previously overlooked. In the future I will continue to think about the details in future experiments. The peak of this experiment was when my team and I worked together to create a great procedure. But a pit of this experiment was when the heart machine did not work and we were not able to get a piece of data.
